Invasive Plants Species Profiles at USDA.gov This is a growing list of species profiles of invasive plants. The profiles contain photographs and other information that will help you identify invasive plants. The profiles also contain information such as how the plant was introduced, how it spreads as a weed and resources to help you control the invasive plant. Viginia Tech Weed Identification Guide This is a great resource for identifying weeds that an average person can use. The focus is weeds from the Southeastern United States. However, since many weeds have an extensive range, this tool is useful over most of the United States. The Viginia Tech Weed Identification Guide pages are intended to aide in the identification of common weeds and weed seedlings found throughout Virginia and the Southeastern U.S.
